Dr. Michelle CarneyRay-Yoder, Superintendent
Dr. CarneyRay-Yoder comes to the Central Regional School District after serving as the Somers Point School District Superintendent. Before becoming a Superintendent, she served as Principal and Director of Special Education for Margate City Schools; Assistant Principal in Fernwood Avenue Middle School; a Learning Disability Teacher Consultant in Galloway Township; and a Special Education Teacher (Learning and Emotional Disabilities) in Brigantine and Norfolk, Virginia. In addition to her educational experience, she also serves as an adjunct professor at Stockton University (Master's Level administration), along with previous basketball coaching experience at the middle, high school, and Division III levels.
Before starting her career in education, she was a Division I scholar-athlete at The College of William & Mary (Women's Basketball - Williamsburg, VA). This drive led her to continue her education to complete a Master's Degree in Special Education from Old Dominion University (Learning/ Emotional Disturbances - Norfolk, Virginia), along with a Master's and Doctoral Degree in Educational Administration at Widener University (Chester, PA).
