Attention all CRSD students! Make sure you are prepared for midterms this Friday, Jan. 31 to next Wednesday, Feb. 5. Don’t forget to charge your laptops for the tests and make sure you get some sleep beforehand. We will have shortened days at CRMS and CRHS so enjoy your time once you’ve finished your exams! Our creative Phys. Ed. teachers know a thing or two about thinking outside the box when it comes to gym class. At CRHS, our classes exercised by square dancing, learning moves like chains, swing, do-si-do, grand square and more. Students could even qualify and compete with other gym classes, and dress up as wizards, ninja turtles and more creative group costumes! Way to go, CRHS! #SoarTogether

Our CRHS students recently got the chance to learn from a speaker from the Tigger Stavola Foundation about the dangers of vaping and making good decisions. The mission of the foundation, based in Red Bank, is to fight addiction, spread awareness, and save lives through drug prevention and education.

You may have seen a few Santa Clauses coming to town this past holiday season. But do you see any come right out the ice hockey arena? This past Christmas, our hockey players donated some of their time and gifts to dress up as Santa and his elves, making the holiday a bit brighter for the children at the local shelter. #SoarTogether

With the help of the Ocean County Department of Solid Waste Management, our students are on their way to becoming environmentally conscious. During their presentation on Jan. 15, students heard all about recycling, composting and many other processes to help save our Earth. There’s even talk of a “Green Team” on the way at CRMS. Our talented MTMS students gave audiences a chance to step through the looking glass with their production of Alice in Wonderland, over the weekend. The shows on the 17th and 18th transformed the high school stage into a slice of Wonderland. Wait to go CRMS! #SoarTogether
